Jarvis, Becker, and Poe became the champions of DeepStack Extravaganza I

From February 13 to March 5, the Venetian Las Vegas hosted the DeepStack Extravaganza I championship with a guaranteed prize pool of 1.5 million USD. A total of 35 tournaments were held, in which 4,268 players participated (not counting satellites). As a result, 2,372,034 USD was raffled off. Jarvis, Becker, and Poe became the champions of DeepStack Extravaganza I and earned 151,406 USD, 15,606 USD, and 68,495 USD, respectively.

Also, the winners were Kenny Hyunh (event #1: 600 USD NLH Ultimate Stack — 30,300 USD), David Ouellette (event #14: 600 USD NLH Seniors — 12,644 USD), Kao Saechao (event #20: 500 USD NLH Epic Stack — 20,263 USD) and Uuganbayar Altankhuyag (event #35: 500 USD NLH Epic Stack — 19,709 USD).

One of the largest and most expensive tournaments was the fourth event of the series — 1,600 USD NLH Epic Stack. The tournament attracted 602 players. 77 players earned money, including Darren Rabinowitz (12th place — 8,633 USD), Kraig Komrosky (14th — 7,101 USD), Michael Gathy (15th — 7,101 USD), Dylan Weisman (19th — 5,953 USD), Rex Clinkscales (20th — 5,953 USD), Vanessa Castro (24th — 5,953 USD), James Romero (29th — 5,088 USD) and 2013 WSOP Main Event champion Ryan Riess (32nd — 5,088 USD).

On February 26, event #24: 600 USD NLH Epic Stack Freezeout registered 102 entries, and the prize money was 52,015 USD. Among those who earned money, but did not get to the final table, were Marquis Waters (10th place — 1,300 USD), Michael Halley (11th — 1,040 USD), and Christina Hill (12th — 1,040 USD).

On March 5, a tournament called the 800 USD NLH Ultimate Stack was held. 564 players contributed 800 USD each, thereby creating a prize pool of 389,160 USD. This money was shared by 71 players, including Peter Rabin (12th place — 3,972 USD), Qing Liu (15th — 3,286 USD), Andrew Rodgers (20th — 3,775 USD), Kevin Wang (28th — 2,393 USD), James Van Alstyne (36th — 2,109 USD) and Elvis Toomas (40th — 2,109 USD).
